Ann Blonston works

Some kind words from clients and colleagues

From Jennifer Forman, VP Resource Development & Marketing, eTown:

Ann is a true professional with outstanding writing skills. Working with Ann on eTown’s grant proposals demonstrated her talent for pulling together obscure ideas and transforming them into strong, purposeful copy. Ann is always creative, prepared, and deadline-driven. And she has a great sense of humor!

From Nick Forster, Hot Rize:

So many artists these days wonder about whether or not to sign with a label or put out records on their own. I thought it would be really easy to just start a label, and I quickly found that it was not. Ann Blonston was invaluable in helping get our small label, Ten In Hand Records, organized. She helped us gather information for mechanical licensing and other administrative chores, but she went even further. She helped us organize all of our assets for the three titles we already have. She knows the process so well that she helped us find manufacturers and even ordered the storage containers for us to preserve our digital and analog files and artwork in the same place.

I’ve been in the music business for almost 40 years, and I learned a lot from Ann. She’s a good communicator, and she organized systems in ways that were a huge help for us. She made having our own label – and doing things right – possible.

From Catherine Von Hatten, President, Boulder Mountain Fire Department Auxiliary:

Ann’s skillful crafting of Boulder Mountain Fire Protection District Auxiliary communication has taken our marketing and public education efforts to the next level. One of our artists described her marketing message and tools for our major fundraiser, Boulder Mountain Handmade, as “the most exceptional” she had seen for a small, non-profit organization. Ann designed and wrote a manual for our provisioning team that rivals corporate training manuals. Her newsletter articles send a clear message to our community about the work of our organization. She has helped us all to define our work and present it to the public in a professional way.
